The autopsy performed on the body of the five-year-old boy who died at a summer camp in Mendoza confirmed that the cause of his death was drowning, ruling out the presence of signs of violence. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Mendoza reported that the victim, identified as Faustino Díaz Crimi, fell into the pool at the Marista Club in the city of Luján de Cuyo and lost his life due to drowning.

The necropsy report indicates that anatomical pathology studies of some organs are still pending, which take at least 60 days. Additionally, it notes that the body showed no marks of violence or bruises. The Justice Department is investigating the case to clarify the details of the incident, and the Public Prosecutor's Office requested information about the club's municipal authorization.

Following the incident, the Marista Club announced on social media that it was closing its facilities, a measure that has remained in effect. The boy received first aid from witnesses and emergency services with resuscitation maneuvers, but unfortunately, his death was confirmed.
